The MCP Agent starter (Level 2) will demonstrate how to build agents that consume tools via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This enables standardized integration with both internal Backbase services and external tools.

  • Internal MCPs: Connect to Banking Domain MCP servers (e.g., Payments, Identity) exposed via API Management.
  • External MCPs: Connect to 3rd party MCP servers.
  • Unified Tool Calling: Use a standard protocol for all tool interactions.
