Overview

Mambu is a cloud-native core banking platform that enables rapid deployment of banking products. The Grand Central Mambu connector provides comprehensive integration capabilities, connecting digital banking channels to the Mambu cloud platform using the Grand Central Unified API Specification. Mambu specializes in flexible product configuration, real-time data synchronization, and comprehensive loan and deposit management. The Grand Central connector provides a secure integration layer that streamlines operations and improves scalability.

Prerequisites

Before you start, you require the following:
  • Completion of Grand Central connector configuration prerequisites
  • An active Mambu account with access to one of the following Mambu environments:
    • Production: https://TENANT_NAME.mambu.com
    • Sandbox: https://TENANT_NAME.sandbox.mambu.com
  • Valid Mambu API credentials (contact your administrator to obtain or create authentication details)

Configuration

To configure your Mambu connector:
  1. Set your APIM subscription key in the header:
    • Key: api-key
    • Value: your subscription key
  2. Request the Grand Central team to set up a connection with Mambu and provide:
    • Your Mambu user-id and password for Basic Authentication
  3. Configure the following details in gc-applications-live: 
    mambu.baseUrl= # Mambu environment base URL

Supported Operations

The Mambu connector supports the following key operations:
  • Deposit Account Management: Open, update, and close deposit accounts; retrieve balances and statements
  • Loan Account Management: Create, disburse, and manage loan products; schedule and track EMIs
  • Customer Management: Create and manage customer profiles; update customer details in real-time
  • Transaction Processing: Process fund transfers; retrieve comprehensive transaction histories
  • Product Configuration: Create new banking products dynamically; configure fees, charges, and interest rates
  • Balance Services: Retrieve balance information for deposit and loan accounts
  • Account Lifecycle Management: Manage account statuses through all stages (pending, approved, active, closed)
