This page describes the steps you need to take before you can start using your Salesforce connector.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure that the following requirements are met:
  • You have completed the steps in Get started with connectors.
  • You have an active contract with Salesforce, which you can obtain through Backbase.
  • You have the necessary API credentials to access Salesforce’s sandbox and service (test and production environments).

Configure the Salesforce connector

To configure your connector, follow these steps:
  1. Set your APIM subscription key in the header as follows:
    • Key: api-key
    • Value: <your subscription key>
  2. Request the Grand Central team to set up a connection with Salesforce, and provide the following details for logging in to Salesforce:
    • gc.sf.client.id
    • gc.sf.client.secret
    • gc.sf.client.username
    • gc.sf.client.password
    • gc.sf.client.loginUrl
